Asus's 6 new Zenfone 4 line up all equipped with dual camera

Asus has revealed new phones from its Zenfone 4 line: the ZenFone 4, ZenFone Max, ZenFone 4 Max Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie, and ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro.
Going along with the event's "We Love Photo" slogan, all five models share one thing in common: they all have a dual camera setup, though one model is using it for 2x optical zoom, while the rest use it for super wide-angle shots on either side.
The main stars of the show for the ZenFone 4 series are the ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 4 Pro. The former is the device that Asus will make available in most regions and is the primary handset for this lineup, whereas the latter is a more powerful version of it and the most expensive phone that Asus announced.
Zenfone 4 (ZE554KL)
The similar-looking ZenFone 4's (ZE554KL) is the successor to its mid-range value for money model, Zenfone 3. It has 5.5-inch 1080p display with an option of mid-range octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 or Snapdragon 630 chipset. Accordingly, you will get either 4GB or 6GB of RAM with 64GB storage. Zenfone 4 is powered by a 3,300 mAh battery. The fingerprint reader has been relocated to the front consistent with the rest of the new Zenfone 4 line up.
The camera department is where the story is. The set up is a dual 12 MP + 8 MP setup with an f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization, and the ability to capture 120-degree wide angle shots with the secondary lens.
Zenfone 4 PRO (ZS551KL)
The ZenFone 4 Pro (ZS551KL) looks like the follow up of ZenFone 3 Zoom, featuring a 2x zoom dual camera, a Snapdragon 835 chipset and 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display. In the design department, ASUS put in 2.5D Gorilla Glass panels on front and back panel, flushing with the aluminum mid-frame's rounded edges. . The dual camera system on the back consists of a 12 megapixel f1.7 25mm coming in large 1.4um pixels for better light sensitivity. Premium feature includes OIS, 2nd-gen laser AF for improved low-light performance and the Phase detection AF for fast focusing. The secondary camera is a 16 megapixel sensor, f/2.6 aperture with 50mm telephoto lens, giving it 2x lossless optical zoom. On the front is an 8 megapixel f1.9 camera, an 88-degree wide angle view and also phase detection AF.
ZenFone 4 Selfie (ZD553KL)/ Selfie Pro(ZD552KL)
The ZenFone 4 Selfie and Selfie Pro are made for for capturing all of your best well, selfie-portraits and therefore focuses on the Front camera. Both phones come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED 1080p display with 2.5D glass, 64GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM, 16MP rear-facing camera, a fingerprint scanner, and Android Nougat. The Selfie is using a a less powerful Snaprdragon 430 processor where the PRO will run the Snapdragon 625 chipset. The other difference is the front-facing cameras.
The Selfie will be getting a 20MP + 8MP setup with an f/2.0 aperture and a 120-degree wide angle lens, great for group photos. The Selfie Pro will also support 120-degree wide angle shots, with a 12 MP (note Asus markets it as 24MP due to dual pixel autofocus) + 12MP combination. in this case, the aperture is a faster f/1.8 aperture, allowing for 4K video recording.
Zenfone Max (ZC520KL)/ Max Pro (ZC554KL)
The Selfie lineup is centered around camera, photo quality. The Max series on the other hand is focused on big battery endurance. Both the ZenFone 4 Max and Max Pro come with a massive 5,000 mAh battery to provide you approximately two days of full use. Both models sports a 5.5-inch IPS 720p display and the main difference is the camera and memory setup.
Zenfone Max (ZC520KL) gives a choice of 2GB, 3GB and 4GB memory with a variant of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB expandable storage accordingly. On the back is a dual camera system with 13 megapixel f2.0 25mm primary camera and 12mm wide angle secondary camera. On the front is an 8 megapixel sensor.
Zenfone Max PRO (ZC554KL)memory is limited to a choice of 2GB or 3GB and storage is limited to just 32GB. The ZenFone 4 Max Pro has a 16mp + 8mp dual sensors on the back and front is 16 mp. f/2.0 aperture with a 120-degree wide angle lens are the same as Max.
