For quite some time now, there have been a lot of rumor about the Apple iPhone 5se. Recently, some reports have hinted that the smartphone will be released on March 22. Meanwhile, some of the reports show that the Apple iPhone 5se will come with an upgraded  8MP rear camera, a 4” display  with TouchID. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the new A9 chipset from Apple. This means that the same processor breathing in the iPhone 6s will power the Apple iPhone 5se. However, it will be available at 1GB, which is half the RAM on the iPhone 6s.

It is also believed that the iPhone 5se is a refined version of the Apple iPhone 5s, it coming with a more powerful hardware and a more flexible design. In the newly leaked image below, the look of the new flagship is confirmed. The image shows a 2.5D curved protective glass on the screen of the iPhone 5se and it is clear that the smartphone is compact.

If the new leaked photo is indeed true, then we can expect that the name of the smartphone is indeed real. In the photo, we see the iPhone 5se, which is probably hinting at the fact that this is a Special Edition of the iPhone 5s. It could also be called iPhone 5s Enhanced edition, according to certain leaks. Given that rumors like this sometimes predict correctly, we cannot term the interpretation of the names of the newest flagship as a short in the dark. Only the official confirmation or rejection of the names will tell later.

Conclusion

As for the date of release, it should happen on March 22, considering the previous plans of Apple. Moreover, a new iPad Pro is also expected to be announced. Not only that, a new iPad Air 3 is also likely to be released at the same event. The Apple A9X chip, the same that can be found on the original iPad Pro, should power each of these.
